Heavens Care mission is to provide both the homeless, and people in need with food, educational resources, improve literacy in both children and adults, provide temporary to permanent housing to homeless and the needy, provide non-congregate shelter to both the homeless and the needy, and be a community outreach provider both during and after disasters, and in the event of a nationwide pandemic. Heavens Care will continue to be a community soup kitchen, food bank, literacy center, and provide homeless outreach on a regular basis. Our vision is to purchase a building that will be used as a transitional shelter for both the homeless and their pets. Often pets are not allowed in shelters, so many homeless choose to stay with their pets in the elements. Statistics show that over 17,000 individuals die while homeless.
Heavens Care promotes healthy living which includes providing hygiene supplies, healthy food, and proper hydration.

Heavens Care consists of the following services: soup kitchen, community food bank, literacy center, and Community Outreach in Ascension Parish, Louisiana, within the meaning of Section 501c3 of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Heavens Care has and continues to provide hygiene supplies, non-perishable foods, hot meals when possible to the homeless/needy. Heavens Care also provides feminine hygiene kits, care packages with inspirational cards, clothes, shoes, disaster relief supplies after disaster, gift for kids during Christmas time, blankets, small first aid kits, and non-congregate shelter stay (motel/hotel) rooms during inclement/extreme heat/extreme cold weather when funding is available. We work with other agencies along with the State of Louisiana to end homelessness in Louisiana by conducting Street Outreach, placing individuals/families in state system then refer them to the correct agency so they can obtain permanent housing.
